• Day 1: Short Channel crossing to France and on to Valkenburg for a 4-night stay.
• Day 2: A day to relax in Valkenburg. Take a short walk to the town centre with its many shops and pavement cafés, visit the municipal caves or take the chairlift to the Wilhelmina Tower for fantastic views across the town. Or relax in the hotel’s cosy bar or garden terrace. Lunch is provided at the hotel today.
• Day 3: Enjoy a day across the border in Germany at the picturesque town of Monschau. With dramatic settings, timber-framed shops and pavement cafés, take time to stroll through cobbled streets or visit one of the town’s museums.
• Day 4: Today, visit Maastricht, the capital of the Limburg region. Set on the banks of the Maas River, this university city has a wonderful medieval old town to explore the squares, churches, museums, as well as plenty of shops and cafés. We recommend including a short river cruise to the Belgian border.
• Day 5: On to Calais for a short Channel crossing home.
